  DSC04083.JPG - first pic at Dev's.. Monty just arrived.. and he brought a *GIANT* 5' fractal pecan pie with him ! It smelled sooooo good.. (and didn't taste all that good). Monty made an oven in his drive out of cinderblocks and a gas burner, because it was *far* too large to cook in a normal oven. 60 eggs went into the pie. But I didn't like it all that much.. we should have just thickened it. The end result tasted too barley malt-y for me.

This is the first stab. the 40 pounds of potato is yet to come. Also, when I noticed them, i was worried they'd poop in our mashed potatoes. Glad that didn't happen. (or DID it ? I ain't telling.)
